This section should detail the approach to critical appraisal, not the assessment results, and should be consistent with the details in the published JBI Umbrella Review protocol. Any deviations from the protocol must be reported and explained in this section of the review report. The JBI critical appraisal instrument for Systematic Reviews and Research Syntheses embedded in the JBI SUMARI software (see Appendices 9.1 and 9.2) must be used and either cited or appended to the review report.
