Feedback is an important part of delivering the JBI EITP as it assists both trainers and the JBI Education team. Each participant who completes the EITP (including the CLW and EIW) should be encouraged to submit an evaluation via an online survey. A link to the Participant Course Evaluation Survey can be found on the Home Page of the EITP Trainers Portal . The survey is titled **JBI GLOBAL TRAINING EVALUATION SURVEY** and used for all JBI Short Courses. The link is also located within the Trainers Portal Participation Material Folder.

The survey link for EITP should be completed when prompted in the program. This will ensure JBI and our trainers receive instantaneous feedback for each week completed. We also encourage all trainers to remind participants at the conclusion of the entire program. Here at JBI Adelaide, we currently use a third-party registration platform (Eventbrite) to capture registrations and use as a communication tool. Post training, every registered participant receives an email from Eventbrite thanking them for attending, reiterating available resources and requesting participants help us improve our programs by completing the Participant Course Evaluation Survey. This is something your JBI Collaboration entity may like to consider as a mean of obtaining feedback. The survey is completely optional and anonymous therefore we encourage JBI Trainers to explain how the feedback provided assist yourself and JBI in providing continually improved education.

At the conclusion of the program, and after submitting your Certificate Claim Form, the JBI Education administration team will email all trainers the completed Participant Registration and Certification Form along with a copy of the survey results in PDF format. We encourage all trainers to spend time thoroughly reading the feedback individually and meet to discuss the results as a training team if/when required. This will enhance your understanding of how the program was delivered from the perspective of the participant.

The Participant Course Evaluation Survey is structured to understand the participants level of agreement with components of the program, if the program was delivered effectively, relevance of the content, quality of resources and technology and free form comments on aspects of the program. We highly encourage all trainers and JBI Directors/Deputy Directors to read the results of each section, particularly the comments sections where participants provide additional constructive feedback. At times, feedback comments can sometimes be categorized which helps address any concerns. The golden rule to constructive feedback is not to take it personally and remember the benefit of getting feedback - namely, to improve your skills, our programs, relationships you've just built and to help you meet the expectations of your training agreement. As the feedback is anonymous it's impossible to address individual concerns however taking the feedback on board and making any required changes or improvements either individually or as a training group, will only enhance the delivery of the program in the future. Sometimes changes just can't be made or technology was just not cooperating on the day or unexpected things happened leading up to the delivery of the program, which needs to be remembered. We're not perfect however we can address any ideas, feedback or comments on improving ourselves as educators and the program content.

The JBI Education team review all feedback for each program delivered within our JBIC and if any areas of concern are identified we will contact the trainer(s) to discuss further or provide relevant resources to assist with future training. In turn, if you wish to discuss any constructive feedback further with the JBI Education Team, please feel free to send an email ([**jbieducation@adelaide.edu.au**](mailto:jbieducation@adelaide.edu.au)) or arrange a Zoom Meeting with one of our education team. Our Annual Trainers Meeting is also another avenue of providing your own feedback and suggestions. We're always here to support you and welcome any feedback or suggestions regarding the content or delivery of our JBI Short Courses.
