<span style="color: #000000">Effective communication is vital in ensuring the success of the JBI Trainers Network, the delivery of JBI's Short Courses, notifications of training materials and the Annual Trainers Meeting, and any changes to JBI Education processes.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">Communication between the JBI Education Team and our Trainers Network is vital in ensuring you're kept up-to-date with important updates and notifications. As an accredited EITP Trainer, you'll find all the up-to-date training materials, short course registration form, feedback survey link, Train the Trainer opportunities, Trainers Handbook links and short course Terms and Conditions within the JBI EITP Trainer's Portal. It is also a platform for</span><span style="color: #000000"> </span>**<u><span style="color: #000000">communicating important information</span></u>**<span style="color: #000000"> </span><span style="color: #000000">and also the platform for hosting the Annual Trainers Meeting.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To ensure you're receiving notifications of any Announcements or Discussions posted by the JBI Education Team on the Trainers Portal, you'll need to ensure yourself and your fellow JBIC entity trainers have 'Notifications' </span>**<span style="color: #000000">SWITCHED ON</span>**<span style="color: #000000">. This will ensure you're </span>**<span style="color: #000000">notified by email</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> (to the email address you've registered with) when an Announcement or Discussions is posted. Instructions on activating your Trainers Portal notifications are provided upon successful completion of the Train the Trainer program and below:</span>

**Step 1:**  
Click '**Account**' on the top left menu followed by '**Notifications**' from the menu.

**Step 2:**  
<span style="color: #172b4d">Locate 'Announcement' and ensure this is 'Turned On' by clicking on the bell icon and selecting '</span>**<span style="color: #e03e2d">Notify Immediately</span>**<span style="color: #172b4d">'.</span>

**<span style="color: #172b4d">Step 3:</span>**  
<span style="color: #172b4d">Scroll down to 'Discussions' and ensure these are all 'Turned On' as per the instructions in Step 2.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">Once these options are active, each time the JBI Education Team post an Announcement or Discussion, you'll be sent an email with a copy of the post. </span>

<span style="color: #000000">You can also view or revisit these communications in the Home Page of Trainers Portal at any time for previous communications. </span>
